Crossflow Cup 2026

The 2026 Crossflow Cup season is just 6 weeks away!!! Our season opener is with SCCA at Thunderhill Raceway March 27th - 29th. The season kicks off Friday with a warm up/ test day. Friday night has a special welcome dinner in the Clubhouse sponsored by Porter Racing and Panasport Wheels for all Crossflow Cup competitors and a guest. Racing starts Saturday morning with our usual schedule of qualifying/race  repeating again on Sunday.

A couple of new things for 2026 you should know:

First off, The 2026 Crossflow Cup Season will be known as the Neil Porter Farewell Tour. After more years racing than we can count, Neil has decided that this will be his last full-time racing season. Porter Racing and Panasport Wheels have teamed up to supply some fantastic raffle prizes for our race weekend giveaways. We want to thank Neil for all he has done for our sport and we know he will never be going away completely.

Rules

The rules  have been updated. Don’t worry, if your car was legal last year, it will be legal this year. We made no major changes, just cleaned up some language to make sure we are all on the same page, and racing on a level playing field. Please take a moment to read through the rules. They will be updated on the website.

Points

Everything is a work in progress last year we made an adjustment in the points structure and this year we have fine tuned it again. We wanted to create a bigger differential for the podium places. First will still receive 15 points, Second place  will get 12 and the last step on the box  will be 10. Points will now be paid through 12th place.

Funding

In the past, our series has been paid for by the generosity of sponsors and direct donations from the competitors. This year we will continue to enjoy the support of our past sponsors with the additions of Panasport wheels, Porter Racing, Nova Motorsports, and coming back for full season support, Hoosier Tires. What is changing is we will no longer be asking for a donation from competitors. Instead of the $300 per year/$75 per weekend donation we have now built into Motorsports reg a $50 per event fee that the hosting clubs will be collection and sending to us to help fund everything we do.

Looking forward to seeing a huge field for Thunderhill
